Ramblings of a Poetic Soul

I came across this quote this morning and found that it suited many aspects at the moment. 

“There is no coming to consciousness without pain. People will do anything, no matter how absurd, in order to avoid facing their own Soul. One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious.”

He's absolutely right about people doing "anything" other than what they truly should no matter how "absurd", just to avoid what they don't want to face. The result of that avoidance is that this time has become one in which...

"Truth has become Lie and Lies have become Truth". 

How absurd is it when people would rather be or become bat shit fuckin crazy rather than face what is within? And yes...that's a rhetorical question because all one has to do is look around to see just how fuckin absurd the shit has become.

(you know that thing most don't have a clue what it is or what it's for)

1. Ridiculously unreasonable, unsound, or incongruous
2. Having no rational or orderly relationship to human life, meaningless, lacking order or value

I don't know about anyone else, but I've definitely experienced behaviors from others that without question classify as absurd by that definition. Let me clarify that...an increase in behaviors. And as Jung said it's in avoidance of. Bitch is...they may be avoiding but their avoidance has consequences and almost always involves another which neither asked for, deserves, or should be expected to have to deal with. Unfortunately we have to...to some degree or another.

When one deals with Soul it's personal...

in order to avoid doing so you must create a diversion for self and that always includes another. 

I don't know...I just know I'm having a hard time this year dealing with shit. Truth is many of us are. 

We're Tired, we're Annoyed, we're fuckin Fed Up with the Bullshit...and yet "we" have no choice but to stay our course (so to speak) and keep holding on...hoping that one day it'll be different. That one day they'll fuckin wake up. All the while understanding that within the darkness is light...but it can not be seen unless looked for.
