The only thing missing from the very truthful description of " Our Kayaks" is the inclusion of the fact that many are finding themselves tired from the battle and look over at the shore to see someone smiling and waving at them to jump out and swim over to rest on the shore.
I think this explains the consequence of that action quite well...

A Spiritual journey isn't suppose to be all love light and cupcakes (Wiccan New Age Shit), nor is it suppose to be either the responsibility of another or something you do occasionally (Religious Control Bullshit)...the fact is that it's hard as hell and never ending. But it is without question the Ultimate Battle to End All Battles...as it's the one for your SOUL.
Seems to me it's a battle that one should be in no matter how hard...but that's just me.
